Atlantic Progression Q1 Recap: A New Era of Underground Energy

Quarter One of 2025 marked a bold and beautiful evolution for Atlantic Progression. What started as a passion project for the deeper side of dance music has now become a full-blown movement—driven by sound, community, and the refusal to conform. From debut events to major announcements, livestream expansions to festival bookings, Q1 proved one thing: Idaho’s underground is alive and thriving.

🌱 The Awakening: Where It All Began

The heartbeat of Q1 was undoubtedly The Awakening on March 15 at The Gem in Idaho Falls. Framed as a rebirth of underground house and progressive sounds, this event set the tone for our mission: sophisticated grooves, intentional curation, and a dancefloor experience unlike anything else in East Idaho.

With an unforgettable headline set by Denver’s Discognition and support from NSZ, Sensei The Beast, Darqness, and The Idahoan, the night brought out dancers, dreamers, and deep music lovers. It wasn’t just successful—it was foundational.

For those who couldn’t be there in person, we livestreamed the entire night on our Mixcloud and Twitch channels—and we’ve since released the [ full video on YouTube and audio on Mixcloud for fans to relive every beat.

📡 Livestream Growth: Q1 on the Channels

Atlantic Progression’s livestream presence grew stronger than ever this quarter. Here’s a quick look at the digital energy we brought to screens worldwide:

These livestreams are building something real—an audience that stretches beyond state lines and across time zones. Expect even more music, moments, and movement in Q2.

🌀 The Rise of Gem State (Live!)

We took another step forward by announcing the live debut of Gem State—The Idahoan’s monthly residency show, now coming to life as an in-person event at The Gem on September 6. This event will blend progressive house, melodic house, and electronica with live oil painting, raffles, merch, and community vibes. And yes—it’ll be livestreamed too. This is a local show with global energy.

🎮 Announced: Triforce – The Fist of Power

We also unveiled one of our most ambitious theme nights yet: Triforce: The Fist of Power. Set for May 3 at Misfitz in Pocatello, this Zelda-inspired bass event is packed with lore, dark energy, and a lineup of six heavy-hitting DJs who will summon Ganon himself with drops and subs. Presented by Atlantic Progression and hyped by IdaHeathen, this one’s already generating serious buzz—and we can’t wait to unleash it.

🎗️Community at the Core

One of the values that defines Atlantic Progression is giving back. That’s why we’re proud to sponsor The Idahoan’s upcoming 3rd Annual Independence Day Charity Livestream in support of Children International. With a stacked lineup of Idaho’s finest DJs and a mission to break the $1K donation mark, this virtual event is about more than music—it’s about making a difference.

🔊 Looking Ahead

As we head into Q2 and beyond, our focus remains on:

  • Curating intentional and elevated dance music events
  • Expanding our livestream audience globally
  • Supporting artists who are shaping the underground sound
  • Building experiences that leave a lasting impact

From festival stages to charity streams, progressive nights to grime-soaked chaos, Atlantic Progression is all-in for 2025. And trust us—we’re just getting started.
