Based in Idaho and global in reach, The Idahoan is a progressive house and psytrance DJ, producer, and promoter known for his consistency, community involvement, and deep-rooted passion for underground electronic music. Inspired by legendary artists such as John Digweed, Sasha, Paul Oakenfold, and Paul van Dyk, his sound blends classic progressive influences with modern energy and precision.
Since beginning his DJ journey in 2019, The Idahoan has built an extensive online presence, uploading hundreds of mixes across platforms like Mixcloud and YouTube while performing regularly at regional venues and festivals in Idaho, including Konnexion Music Festival and Welcome to the Oasis. He has shared lineups with artists such as ill.GATES, Robert Babicz, Darin Epsilon, and others through both live and online performances.
As a co-owner and resident of Atlantic Progression and a resident on Raverholics Radio, The Idahoan plays an active role in growing the progressive house scene through events, livestreams, and global collaborations. His original productions have gained traction on Beatport, with releases like “Inflexible” reaching the Top 10 in Progressive House and the “Wasted Thoughts” EP charting across multiple Electronica and Progressive House categories.
Beyond the stage, The Idahoan is a dedicated community builder, organizing charity livestream events that have raised thousands of dollars for causes including autism awareness and children’s charities. He also brings a unique creative element to his brand through live painting during select performances, reflecting his background as a visual artist. The Idahoan currently hosts a monthly open deck night event in Idaho Falls, ID.
