Gabe Newman is a Miami Beach–based DJ and the newest artist to join Atlantic Progression.
Originally from New York, Gabe’s relationship with underground electronic music reaches back to the city’s club culture and nights spent at Twilo. That history still informs the way he approaches music today—not as nostalgia, but as a foundation for sets built around patience, depth, and progression.
Now based in South Florida, Gabe has developed his own space for that approach through Cavernous Spaces, his monthly residency on Atlantic Progression. The show gives him room to work in longer form, allowing selections to unfold gradually and connections between tracks to carry as much weight as the individual records themselves.
He also hosts Sub-Terra, his personal live-stream showcase and another outlet for exploring the deeper territory of his collection without forcing the music into a fixed formula.
Across both projects, Gabe’s perspective is shaped by years spent listening, collecting, and experiencing electronic music from the dance floor outward. His arrival at Atlantic Progression brings that history into the present, adding another distinct voice to the collective as it continues to take shape.
