Holy hell, this weekend was a blur in the best kind of way. July 19 and 20, 2025 — two shows, two cities, a carload of gear, and an overflowing heart. These kinds of weekends are why I do this. So let me break it all down for you.
Doused in House – July 19 at Misfitz, Pocatello
Saturday night was our return to Misfitz for Doused in House. The lineup? Heavy.
Pocatello showed up, even with Shady Grove pulling some attention across town. We didn’t pack the walls, but we had enough energy in the room to shake the concrete.

SirNicholas, Niño Lebon, DJ JUL3Z, yours truly (The Idahoan), N.S.Z., and Ravage the Trove. Doors opened at 7:30 PM and we had heads walking in early — especially for Nick, who was playing his very first CDJ set ever and absolutely crushed it. Niño Lebon kept the heat on and absolutely nailed his set.

DJ JUL3Z brought a slick mix of modern club tracks. This was also her first time on CDJs and I believe she killed it. I followed with a progressive house and breaks set, and then N.S.Z. and Ravage the Trove closed the night with absolute precision. The vibe was underground. Raw. Real.
Big love to the friends who came from far out — Crystal, Jada, Charles, McKenzie and Makayla from Twin Falls, and of course Eliah, who not only helped at the door but also tore down gear with me at the end of the night. That kind of support is priceless. Jenn and Megan from Pocatello also came out to party and they danced their asses off.
Thanks to Sara and Jeramy at Misfitz — can’t wait to throw another one with you.

East Idaho House Music Collective Pop-Up – July 20 at Freeman Park, Idaho Falls
Next day. No sleep. We were back at it.
Sunday, we took the speakers and decks to Shelter 1 at Freeman Park for a community hangout and pop-up show. The East Idaho House Music Collective — yeah, we’re still building that — came together for a full afternoon of burgers, vibes, and sun-soaked grooves.

The lineup: N.S.Z., Code-R3D, Knight Owl, and me.
It was laid-back but locked in. NSZ started us off with a beautiful set while also bringing the goods — he fed us some killer carne asada and homemade tacos that got demolished. Code-R3D played next with support from his partner and family. His daughter was vibing hard and that energy carried.
Knight Owl rolled up with Triplish, RapzL, and more homies. Kaden threw down on the grill with some next-level cheeseburgers. Shit turned into a real summer cookout real quick. I wrapped it up with a deep, melodic set while my parents and son came through to eat dinner and catch the final hour. That part hit different.
What This Weekend Really Meant
These two shows reminded me why I push this scene. We’re not just booking lineups — we’re building community. Whether it’s a basement bar in Pocatello or a public shelter in the park, we’re out here creating space for house music in East Idaho. And people are starting to show up.
To everyone who came, helped, danced, shared, supported — I see you. And if I didn’t name you directly, it’s not because I forgot. It’s because this post would be 10,000 words if I listed all the love that came through this weekend.
