Pisces Rising brought the underground EDM community together on February 28 at Big Papa’s Grill and Live Music in Twin Falls, Idaho. The event was organized as a benefit for Eddie Cabello, also known as Sensei the Beast, who was recently diagnosed with liposarcoma and is undergoing aggressive medical treatment.
The show was co-hosted by Atlantic Progression and The Idahoan alongside Mckenzie Graves and Graves Entertainment, bringing together DJs, artists, and supporters from across South and Southeast Idaho.

By the end of the night, the event had raised over $6,000 through donations, raffles, auctions, and GoFundMe contributions to support Eddie’s medical treatment.
A Night of DJs Supporting One of Their Own
Pisces Rising featured a lineup of DJs from multiple Idaho cities, each performing one-hour sets throughout the night.
The lineup included:

- Sensei the Beast (Eddie Cabello) (Twin Falls)
- The Idahoan (Idaho Falls)
- Weird Science (Idaho Falls)
- Zenny (Idaho Falls)
- Booty Breakerz (Idaho Falls)

The event began at 5:00 PM and continued through midnight, giving each artist an opportunity to perform while bringing the community together around the purpose of the event.
Supporting Eddie Cabello
Eddie Cabello, known in the EDM community as Sensei the Beast, was diagnosed during the holiday season with liposarcoma, an aggressive form of cancer that requires significant medical treatment.

The event was scheduled during Eddie’s birthday weekend, which inspired the event theme: Pisces Rising.
The night focused on supporting Eddie through:
- Live music performances
- Community donations
- A raffle and silent auction
- Online contributions through GoFundMe
The combined efforts of the event and the online fundraiser helped generate over $6,000 in support by the end of the night.
Live Art and Community Creativity
In addition to the DJ performances, Pisces Rising featured live painting from two artists.

The Idahoan created three versions of a beach landscape during the event. One of the paintings was presented to Eddie, while the other two were included in the event’s fundraising efforts through auction or raffle.

Artist Danielle Heathbone also participated, creating an acrylic painting inspired by Rick and Morty titled “Trust the Process.” Her work was also included in the fundraising raffle.

Danielle attended the event alongside Leo Zimmerman, a drum and bass DJ and promoter based in Boise.
The addition of live art helped expand the creative side of the event while contributing directly to the fundraiser.
Community Support Across Southern Idaho
The turnout for Pisces Rising demonstrated the strength of the underground EDM community throughout Idaho.
Artists, DJs, promoters, and supporters traveled from multiple cities to take part in the benefit. The crowd remained strong throughout the evening as people gathered to support Eddie and enjoy the performances.

Events like Pisces Rising highlight the collaborative nature of the underground scene, where artists and organizers work together to support one another during difficult moments.
