The event also served as another step in growing the underground dance music scene in Idaho.

The Soirée d’Amour DJ Lineup

The night featured four DJs from across the region:

Each DJ performed a 90-minute set, beginning at 8:00 PM and continuing until 2:00 AM.

The lineup intentionally blended different styles of underground electronic music to represent multiple corners of the local scene.

Opening the Night with Progressive House

N.S.Z. opened the event with a progressive house set that quickly established the tone for the night. His set resonated strongly with attendees who favor melodic house and progressive styles.

The early portion of the show leaned heavily toward house music, giving the early crowd a focused musical experience before the night expanded into other genres.

A Multi-Genre Underground EDM Show

As the night progressed, the music expanded into a wider range of styles.

Uncle KNNY followed the opener with a set that moved through house, techno, breaks, and drum and bass. His performance brought strong energy to the dance floor and drew enthusiastic support from friends and supporters who traveled from Pocatello and Blackfoot.

Pablo then took over with a genre-blending set featuring drum and bass, breaks, techno, and other electronic styles. His performance carried the peak portion of the night and kept the dance floor active.

The event closed with a progressive house set from The Idahoan, bringing the night back to the melodic and progressive roots that continue to influence Atlantic Progression’s direction.

VIP Valentine’s Packages

The event also offered VIP Valentine’s packages, which included:

  • A bottle of champagne
  • A box of chocolates
  • Candy wristbands
  • Two disposable champagne glasses
  • Two tickets to the event

Nine packages were sold prior to the show, and one was given away during the night.

Additional decorations for the event were donated by a supporter, helping create the Valentine’s atmosphere inside the venue.

Community Support from Across Southeast Idaho

Supporters traveled from multiple cities to attend the event.

The crowd included attendees from:

  • Pocatello
  • Idaho Falls
  • Blackfoot
  • Surrounding Southeast Idaho communities

The turnout made Soirée d’Amour one of the strongest nights in Pocatello for Atlantic Progression events to date.

While the dance floor fluctuated throughout the night, the venue maintained a consistent social atmosphere with people gathering, connecting, and enjoying the music.

Misfitz: A Growing Venue for Underground EDM

A major part of the event’s success came from the support of Sarah, the owner of Misfitz. The venue has become a welcoming space for underground electronic music events in Pocatello.

Atlantic Progression plans to continue working with Misfitz on future shows as the East Idaho EDM scene continues to grow.

Building the East Idaho EDM Scene

Events like Soirée d’Amour represent a broader goal: continuing to develop the underground EDM and progressive house scene in East Idaho.

Because the local community includes fans of multiple genres, the lineup intentionally blended styles including:

  • Progressive house
  • House
  • Melodic house
  • Breaks and breakbeats
  • Drum and bass
  • Techno
  • Electronica

This approach allows the scene to grow while introducing audiences to progressive house and other underground styles.
